Hope your autumn was colorful! My favorite seasonal event (though spring bird migration is right up there with it) showed up peaking in color at the end of October this year- pretty typical- and it seemed that the leaves started dropping off the trees like crazy shortly thereafter. I wish they’d stay around longer!
Wow, what beautiful colours! Our autumn has been fairly short and quick – after a prolonged summer, most of the leaves have been swept away by strong winds almost before they turned colour.
Sorry to hear that, Jo- autumn is almost always too short!
Nature’s free entertainment, Pat!
Love those fall colors!
You and me both, Robert!
So true, Tootlepedal. Makes the coming winter easier to bear.
Beautiful captures of autumn colors!
Love your leaves. I couldn’t resist adding some to my latest post myself (even though I was doing cookie leaves).
Leaves are great everywhere, Inger!
Oh wow. The colors of fall are just stunning.
They truly are! 🙂
Lots of pretty color! Ours were close to peak the 2nd week of November. You’re right, those colorful leaves don’t hang around long enough!
Glad you got to see them a little later, Patti!
